This knitted collar, consisting of graphic vertical stripes, is knitted with two strands of Novita Wonder Wool 4PLY and Tuuli. This beautifully shaped accessory can also be worn as a vest. The simple color patterns are also ideal for practicing intarsia knitting.

“I’m from Kuusamo, and I always wore a neck warmer when it was cold as a child. Nowadays, I have a few friends who swear by the good old neck warmer, which is worn over clothing under a coat. I happened to see a neck warmer worn over a coat once and was inspired by this reverse idea. A cowl should be on display, not hidden! While researching references, I came across the idea of combining thick colored stripes. The collar has ties on the sides that can be tied or left open, as desired." ​
